Saw him last night at Webster Hall last night. So good.

Charlotte and I say this about a lot of musicians/artists/actors after we see them, but I feel like Kurt and I would be friends if we met.... ha.

A few other notes

-I am envious of his hair

-the amount of hair on stage, between Kurt Vile and The Violators, was reminiscent of Pearl Jam

-He was genuinely gracious to the crowd

(he did this little wave and said thank you a few times)

-I will be playing on repeat

If you are in LA this weekend, check out Sam's art show opening at Subliminal Gallery on Saturday the 15th. The show is titled "Less is More" and features minimalist works by artists Clytie Alexander, Edith Baumann, Jow, Larry Bell, Scot Heywood, Sol LeWitt, Bertil Petersson, Anthony Sneed, and Samuel Stabler.

CHESAPEAKE SAILING 2011

Just got back from the annual Father/Daughter sailing trip in the Chesapeake Bay...
