Oh, these are great, particularly #s 2 and 3. Wikipedia says that Animal Collective's "Feels" cover art is an homage to Darger. I never really noticed.

I saw the Bosch with Sam. We smoked a joint with Jorge before we went in, I remember standing there completely stupefied for probably 20 minutes.

And.... the Bosch reminds me of an observation that I frequently ruminate on: modernity has no monopoly on weirdness. It's really fascinating to think about bizarre art and the people who made it, hundreds of years ago, and remember that it's been going on for a long time. I quite like the thought of it.

Yeah, I like #2 and 3 as well. Have you seen "In the Realm of the Unreal"? If not, you should. It's great.

And Sam tells that same story about the Bosch! In fact, he was the one who suggested we include it in this post. That summer was so amazing for you guys...I wish I could have been there the whole time!
